She/Her

Adriana is a warm, compassionate therapist who works with teens and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, cultural identity, relationships, family expectations, and major life transitions. She has a particular interest in supporting first-generation and bicultural clients who may feel caught between honoring their family’s values and creating a life that feels authentic to them.

Many of Adriana’s clients struggle with low self-worth, people-pleasing, unresolved emotional wounds, or difficulty setting and maintaining boundaries. They may understand that certain patterns are no longer serving them but feel unsure how to make meaningful changes. Adriana helps clients explore where these patterns began, strengthen their coping skills, and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.

Her approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed. She draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness, attachment-based therapy, and solution-focused approaches, tailoring treatment to each client’s needs, experiences, and goals. Adriana offers a nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard, understood, and safe being themselves while working toward greater confidence, healthier relationships, and lasting change.

Clients experience Adriana as genuine, approachable, thoughtful, patient, and supportive. She believes that two things can be true at the same time and often encourages clients to approach their experiences with curiosity rather than judgment. Her goal is to help clients better understand themselves, heal from past experiences, and build lives that feel more balanced, authentic, and fulfilling.

Outside of the therapy room, Adriana enjoys attending concerts, dancing and singing, spending time with friends and family, watching movies and television series, recreating recipes, and hanging out with her dog, Azul.
